Dr. Pamela Hollins, MD

Medical Doctor

Dr. Pamela Hollins has over 40 years in the healthcare industry. Dr. Hollins served as the first Black female physician in Calcasieu Parish in 1981. 
Prior to joining Southeast Community Health Systems, Dr. Hollins worked in urgent care clinics, served as an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine for Louisiana State University Medical Center, and staffed the emergency room and ambulatory clinic and two outreach clinics in Baton Rouge. Dr. Hollins also held a staff physician role at an HRSA-designated, Home Health-based Rural Health Clinic in Jackson, Louisiana, and was employed by the Baton Rouge General Medical Clinic Physician Group.

Dr. Hollins opened her own private practice in Baton Rouge from the mid-90s until 2015. During her free time, Dr. Hollins enjoys spending time with her family, being active in her parish of St. Agnes Catholic Church, reading, and traveling.
