Lyssa Morris brings nearly a decade of nursing expertise to Southeast Community Health Systems. As a family nurse practitioner, she works closely with the underserved communities of rural southeast Louisiana. Though she sees a wide array of patients, Morris is particularly interested in Women’s Health. Prior to joining Southeast Community Health Systems, she held various nursing roles.

Her expertise in nursing allowed her to work as a critical care nurse and primary care nurse. Morris earned an Associate in Science of Nursing and a Masters in Science of Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner. She is an alum of Delgado Community College-Charity School of Nursing, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and Herzing University. During her free time, Morris likes to spend time with her family. She lives in Ascension Parish with her husband and child.
