Angela Green, BSW, RSW
Angela Green, BSW, RSW, is a dedicated social worker and Army veteran with over 5 years of experience in mental health crisis intervention, youth mentorship, and clinical support within the nonprofit sector.
As a Peer Support Specialist for the Mobile Crisis Unit at Southeast Community Health Systems, she provides immediate crisis support, connects individuals to services, and draws on her lived experience to build trust and promote recovery.
Angela previously served as a Crisis Counselor with DeafLEAD and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and as a mentor with the Youth Challenge Program. She also processed unemployment claims for the State of Louisiana during the COVID-19 pandemic and held roles in customer service and administration.
In her free time, Angela enjoys staying active, traveling, spending time with friends and family, furthering her knowledge on many topics, and exploring different cultures.
