Caleshia Gaines, affectionately known as "Cali," is a Mississippi native who has called Zachary, Louisiana, home for over seven years. She is a proud graduate of the University of South Alabama, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Her nursing journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alcorn State University, where her passion for mental health care first took root.

Cali is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is a dedicated and compassionate provider with extensive experience spanning correctional nursing, medical-surgical care, telemetry, and over eight years in psychiatric nursing. Her robust foundation in leadership includes more than seven years of supervisory experience, where she excelled in guiding teams, implementing quality assurance measures, and ensuring patient-centered care.

Passionate about advancing mental health care, Cali is committed to promoting resilience and well-being within the communities she serves. Her greatest accomplishment, however, is her son, who brings her immense joy and inspiration. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and creating cherished memories.
