Leadership Team

Amy Paz, RN

Associate Director of Nursing

Amy Paz's calling to nursing was shaped early in life by her experience as a dedicated caregiver to her sister, who was born with Down syndrome and faced numerous health challenges.  That profound experience instilled in her a deep sense of compassion and purpose that has guided her throughout her career.

Amy's path to becoming a Registered Nurse reflects both perseverance and dedication to her craft.  She earned her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential in 1993, followed by her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) designation in 2010, and achieved the milestone of Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in 2023.  Each step of her journey reflects a steadfast commitment to growing her knowledge and expanding her ability to serve others.

For nearly 13 years, Amy has been an integral member of the Southeast Community Health Systems team, where she is dedicated to connecting patients with the care and resources they need to thrive.  Her clinical expertise, paired with her genuine empathy, makes her a trusted presence for both patients and colleagues alike.

Outside of her professional life, Amy is the proud mother of two adult sons and a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren.  She enjoys spending time at the beach and taking on DIY home projects in her spare time.
