As the school year kicks off, ensuring your child's health is a top priority. Southeast Community Health Systems (SHCS) is here to support you with a range of services designed to keep your child healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

🩺 Well-Child Visits, Physicals & Immunizations

Routine check-ups are crucial for monitoring your child's growth and development. SHCS offers:

  • Well-Child Visits: Regular health assessments to track milestones and address any concerns.
  • Physical Exams: Required for sports, school entry, or daycare.
  • Immunizations: Stay up-to-date with necessary vaccinations to protect your child and others.

Note: Parental consent is required for all services. Please complete the necessary forms available on our School-Based Health Services page.

💊 Convenient Pharmacy Services

Managing your child's medications has never been easier:

  • School Deliveries: For students at our School-Based Health Clinics in St. Helena Parish, we can deliver prescriptions directly to the school. (some medications are not allowed to be transported.)
  • Home Deliveries: Prefer medications sent to your home? We can arrange that too.
  • On-Site Pickup: Visit our Albany or Kentwood clinics and pick up prescriptions on your way out.

Additionally, our Prescription Assistance Program helps families access medications at reduced costs. Learn more on our Pharmacy Information page.

🧠 Youth Mobile Crisis Support

Mental health is just as important as physical health. SHCS offers a Youth Mobile Crisis Program, providing 24/7 support for children and adolescents experiencing emotional or behavioral crises. Our team delivers immediate, compassionate care to help stabilize and support your child in their time of need. For more information, visit our Youth Mobile Crisis page.
